We exist to give Florida homeowners a voice, and to turn that voice into real reform.
Florida's property insurance crisis is not just a financial problem. It is a human crisis affecting hundreds of thousands of families across our state. Save My Home Florida exists to give those families a voice, and to turn that voice into real reform.
We believe that when the right leaders are in office, government can and should work for homeowners, not insurers. Florida's Department of Financial Services exists to protect consumers. Its Consumer Helpline exists to investigate complaints and hold insurers accountable. Too often, those tools have not been used to their full potential.
Our long-term vision is simple: a Florida where every homeowner who has been wronged by their insurer has a clear path to accountability — through their government, through the courts, and through the public record.
Save My Home Florida is building a statewide record of the harm Florida homeowners face — from insurance disputes, restoration service provider disputes, and every other threat to keeping a roof over their families. We believe that record will matter: in the courts, in the legislature, and in the next election.
We are committed to ensuring that Florida's next generation of elected leaders understands what has happened to families across this state and has the tools and the will to fix it.

Save My Home Florida is an advocacy and educational initiative of the National Association of Environmentally Responsible Mold Contractors (NAERMC). NAERMC members work daily with Florida homeowners affected by water damage and mold. We have seen firsthand what happens when insurers deny legitimate claims and leave families without recourse.
NAERMC is a Florida DBPR-approved professional license training organization whose 2,500+ members consist of Florida Licensed mold and water damage assessors and restoration contractors.
NAERMC members work with homeowners affected by water damage. We disclose that connection openly. Our interest in insurance reform is grounded in what our members witness every day, not in generating commercial referrals. No homeowner who submits a story to this site will ever be contacted for commercial purposes by NAERMC or its members.
NAERMC has no political affiliation or leaning. No remediation services are offered or recommended on this site.
